Statement

Sir, the strength of any nation lies in the dignity and security of its working class. The Government must listen to the voices of the workers, engage in genuine consultation with the trade unions and ensure that economic reforms do not come at the cost of social justice. Therefore, I urge the Union Government to reconsider the provision of this amendment and to act in a manner that truly protects the welfare, rights and dignity of the working people of this country.
